01 WAVES WON’T STOP
An experimental documentary in which the narrator evokes his childhood memories of Cyprus, and of his decades-long unfulfilled love for another local man. He reflects on their ongoing connection and on the war-torn, divided country that shaped them both. Waves Won’t Stop is an intimate look on an unrealized love and a long journey of return.
This is filmmaker’s Ioannis Papaloizou first feature. The film has been officially supported by the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Limassol, and the Municipality of Nicosia.
